With Praise and Thanksgiving we shall enter the courts of God! I know that with all that 2020 has thrown at us, it may seem difficult to offer our praise and out thanksgiving, but we have been greatly blessed. God is ever faithful and God’s enduring grace and mercy are ever present. Here are some of the ways we are celebrating this month.
Through tears we will honor those we have lost in the past 12-months. We celebrate All-Saints Sunday on November 1st.
We have been collecting money in honor or memory of someone and this will buy Turkeys that the New Carlisle Community Food Pantry will provide along with the Thanksgiving Meals that they are putting together for their patrons. Donation amount is $15. An “in memory of” or “in honor of” turkey is placed on the wall of our Narthex. There is still time to donate to this effort. This has been a community effort and we are thankful to those persons from around New Carlisle that have participated.
We have practiced being present with those who are hurting, suffering, feeling hopeless and lost. Our task is to be the hands and feet of Christ. Lifting those who have fallen, who feel left behind, who need to know the presence of Christ.
Catch us on Sunday morning, YouTube channel “Pastor Kal” and posted later in the day.
Be blessed and be a blessing.
